Create the wallet
The recovery phrase is the wallet. Paper, not screenshots.
- Open the app or extension and choose Create a new wallet.
- Set a password. It only locks the app on this device.
- Write the 12-word recovery phrase on paper, in order, and keep it offline. Anyone with these words owns the wallet.
- Confirm the words when asked. You now have an address that starts with 0x.
Nobody from this project will ever ask for your recovery phrase or your password. Anyone who does is not us.
Add Robinhood Chain
One tap from this page, or type the values in.
With the wallet unlocked in this browser, or this page open inside the wallet app's browser, press the button and approve the network.
By hand instead:
MetaMask: Settings → Networks → Add a network → Add a network manually.
Rabby: More → Add custom network.
Robinhood Chainhttps://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com4663ETHhttps://robinhoodchain.blockscout.comGet ETH onto it
Wait for the price on the registry, then send that amount plus a few cents of gas.
Copy your address from the wallet (tap the address at the top). Then send ETH to it from one of these, with the network set to Robinhood Chain:
- Robinhood app: Crypto → ETH → Send or Withdraw → network Robinhood Chain. Not offered in New York.
- Binance: Withdraw ETH, network Robinhood Chain (Binance lists it as Robinhood / ROBINETH).
- ETH already on another Ethereum network: move it with Relay or Jumper. These are bridges: they send ETH from one network to another. Set the destination to Robinhood Chain.
If the withdrawal screen does not offer Robinhood Chain as the network, stop. ETH sent on a different network lands on that network, not here. Coinbase, Kraken and OKX do not support it yet.
After it arrives, your wallet shows the ETH balance when Robinhood Chain is the selected network. The explorer shows it too.
Register
Your key and your address. No signature, no gas.
Copy your address from the wallet (tap the address at the top; it starts with 0x). Back on the registry page, enter the key you were given and paste the address. That is the wallet you will mint from, so check it twice. You can confirm any address later with the whitelist checker.
Mint day
The link comes from the project. Open it from the same wallet.
Open the OpenSea mint page from the registered wallet: on a computer in the browser with the extension installed, on a phone in the browser inside the MetaMask or Rabby app, not Safari or Chrome. Connect, confirm the mint, done. Most wallet apps do not display NFTs; your Ohmie shows on OpenSea under your address.
"0 ETH on Robinhood Chain" is the most common reason a mint will not go through. Check the balance on the Robinhood Chain network first.
